On April 11, 2018, the New Britain Health Department is hosting a health fair at the New Britain Senior Center. The purpose of this event is to provide health education to local seniors, as well as physical screenings. Attendees can expect:

- Arthritis screenings
- Balance screenings
- Blood glucose testing
- Cancer awareness information
- File of life
- Falls prevention
- Nutritionist segment
The Vein Centers of Connecticut Booth
We will be an exhibitor at the health fair to raise awareness of our services, including varicose vein treatments. Although people can develop varicose veins as early as their 20s, the risk of this disease increases with age. According to studies, one in every two adults over the age of 50 suffers from varicose veins.
Our staff will be on-hand to explain the modern treatment methods we offer, including virtually painless laser technology. Following these procedures, our patients are back on their feet same-day! We will also be educating local seniors and other event attendees about the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle as we age.
