How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

We use the GentleYAG® and GentleLASE® laser systems by Candela, which have a patented skin-cooling effect for greater comfort, safety and results.
Laser hair reduction is achieved by passing laser light over the desired area, which is absorbed by the skin. This light is then converted to heat and absorbed by the targeted cells. Hair growth is slowed by disabling the hair follicles in the treated area.
