Jeffrey Takahashi
Dr. Takahashi earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. After finishing his residency in Radiology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, he went on to complete his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Takahashi is board-certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, as well as Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
He was the founder and medical director of the Middletown Vein and Aesthetic Center in Middletown, CT and the chief of Interventional Radiology at Middlesex Hospital for 23 years. Dr. Takahashi has also served as the regional medical director for the Center for Vein Restoration, a nationwide vein care organization. He currently serves as the director of Interventional Radiology at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT.
Dr. Takahashi has been treating acute and chronic venous disorders for over 25 years and has received “Top Docs” recognition from Connecticut Magazine three times. He credits much of his success to his passion for learning and implementing the latest innovative and medically proven therapies.
Dr. Takahashi now joins the Vein Centers of Connecticut as the medical director. It is his hope and mission that patients at Vein Centers of Connecticut see him as an approachable, compassionate and trustworthy physician. He feels you can only achieve that type of relationship by seeing each patient as an individual with specific vein care needs and concerns, not as a collection of disabling or disfiguring complaints.
In his free time, Dr. Takahashi enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife and two children. His interests include golf, tennis, skiing, woodworking and cooking.
